SOME FEATURES OF BARANGAY UPPER KLINAN

Barangay Upper Klinan, one of the 23 barangays of the Municipality of Polomolok, is located 8 kilometers away from the poblacion. Its distance from the National Highway is only 5 kilometers. One can easily reach the barangay proper by riding a 'top down', the popular name for a motorcycle with an extended sidecar purposely made to carry more passengers. It is just a 15-minute ride from Barangay Cannery terminal. It is bounded on the north by Brgy. Polo, on the south by Brgy. Silway 7 and Brgy. Silway 8, on the east by General Santos City, and on the west by Brgy. Cannery.

It consists of seven puroks namely: Mabinuligon, Makugihon, Malipayon, Masulundon, Paglaum, Mapag-on and Kaunlaran.
